I’ve been watching smallville for the past weeks and I’m really amazed how the writers and the directors establish the character of Clark Kent. Being the boy he was, he made me realize that one thing is for sure in this world, you will have to grasp your responsibilities as you grow older.
I really can’t remember the first day when I became superman fan. Most probably since I started watching TV or movie and I heard the famous tag line, is it a plane, is it a bird? No, it’s Superman…After watching these movies that’s when I started thinking can a man really fly? Can he really lift heavy objects? Can he really see objects thru walls and burn objects thru his eyes? Abilities that an ordinary man doesn’t posses.
All of these questions were answered as the years gone by.
I began my quest as a man when I became the eldest child of the family. I’m really not the eldest but I acted like one. My older sister left our home and tried to be on her own so as a second child, the responsibility was passed on to me. My growing years with my two other siblings were not that easy. Along with my education, I’ve learned life the hard way and I’ve realized that a man may not posses Clark Kent’s abilities but he can level up with him in one way or the other.
A man can’t fly but he can soar high, he can’t lift heavy objects but he can lift and carry heavy burdens, he can’t see thru walls but he can see your soul thru your eyes. A man can’t burn objects thru their eyes but he can melt your heart.
I’ve realized that normal human being can also be called as Man of Steel.
