These are my friends, Mayla, Don and Eugene.. it’s been a long time since we haven’t had this kind of bonding. The only girl in the picture is Mayla who came all the way from Canada and she’s been living there for eight years now. This is our first time to meet again after 8 years and nothing has change, the friendship, the closeness and the stories of each other’s lives.
Our journey started last 1998 on my 2nd job. We don’t have much to offer to each other but as the years go by, we started showing our similarities…we love to sing and dance and have fun…these are the basic foundations of our friendship. The rest is history…friendship nights, out of town activities, sing a long bars, sing along on the streets, overnight escapade, intrigues and revelations….our friendship is already 10 years old and counting.
Mayla arrived in Manila last Saturday after 21 hours of traveld. We were so excited to meet her so we went directly to their house to finally see her after 8 years. She has changed physically since she lost a lot of pounds since we last saw her. I felt that we really had a long weekend combining all our stories for the past 8 years over dinner, breakfast and lunch. It was indeed a memorable time and a quality time for us.
Our friend Mayla is going back to Canada on the last week of this month and we’re sure gonna miss her. Though her stay is just short, it was filled with memories, laughters and a lot of pictorials...…
